With our many options also comes room for price differences in treatments. At your free consultation with OoLi Orthodontics, we’ll go over your different options and available payment plans to determine what your cost of braces will be. We work one-on-one with our patients to ensure we’ve created a payment plan that works for them and will get them to smile with confidence at the end of their treatment. Many insurance plans nowadays cover much of the cost of orthodontic treatment as well.

Average Cost of Braces

As mentioned above, the cost of braces varies from patient to patient, so your individual treatment plan might sound a little different than what we’ve laid out here. In general, you can expect a traditional metal braces treatment from a board-certified orthodontist, like Dr. Park, to start around $4,500. The majority of our patients at OoLi Orthodontics fall within in a $4,500-$6,500 price range, which includes moderate bite issues and braces variants like Invisalign. Rare but severe orthodontic cases can cost up to $6,500 and require additional time for proper treatment.

We know $4,500 or more might sound like a lot, but we strive to make affording braces as easy as possible. We offer all of our patients 0% interest financing with no down payment required, and we accept all major credit cards. We believe everyone should smile with confidence, and hope that our various options for paying for an orthodontic treatment will help all of our patients achieve their dream smile. We’ve even started a price match program where we’ll match the treatment quote from any other board-certified orthodontist in Arizona. Our goal is to give you the best orthodontic treatment at the best price, so your cost of braces is fair and affordable.

With OoLi Orthodontics, what you see is what you get. There are no hidden fees that will pop up down the line and add to your overall cost orthodontic treatment. Everything that you’ll need to know and pay for is included in your financial package. If you have any questions about anything quoted, our staff is always happy to answer and clarify so you’re confident in not just your treatment, but also what you’ll be paying for. The only aspect that won’t be included in your financial package is any procedures performed by your preferred dentist (and any other specialists if needed). We’ll cover the details of any necessary procedures, performed by OoLi Orthodontics or any other dental specialist, at your free consultation, so you’ll know right from the beginning what’s covered in your cost of braces.

Monthly Cost of Braces

Depending on how you choose to pay for your braces treatment, the monthly cost of your braces can be easy to calculate. Let’s say a patient’s braces treatment cost $4,500 with an anticipated 18 month treatment, which is the typical treatment length most of our patients have. This would average to about $250 per month for the cost of braces. During your free consultation, you’ll receive a financial package that will lay out what all is covered in your treatment cost, as well as an anticipated treatment window, so you’ll be able to determine your personalized monthly cost of braces.

Insurance Coverage for Braces

If you’re looking to have your insurance cover the cost of braces, the chances are you’ll be in luck. Many dental insurance plans now cover the cost of traditional braces, but we always recommend checking with your insurance provider beforehand. Be sure to clarify how much of your braces treatment will be covered, and if they will only cover traditional metal braces or if braces variants, like Invisalign, will be covered as well.

At OoLi Orthodontics, we’re happy to check with your insurance provider for you if you’re unsure what level of braces coverage you’ll have. We will help you determine your benefits and process the forms you submit to help you receive the maximum coverage for your treatment.

Flexible spending accounts, like an HSA, FSA, or others including ones that use pre-tax money for medical treatment, is another option to cover the cost of braces. If you have one of these accounts and would like to use it for your treatment cost, we’ll work with you to determine what payment arrangements will work best so you can take advantage of your program. With this payment route, we do ask our patients to know their plan’s terms and limitations regarding payment due dates—these can be very specific, so knowing this beforehand will help us create an accurate payment arrangements.

If you’re curious what your personalized cost of braces will be, we encourage you to schedule a free consultation. During this consultation, Dr. Park will review your orthodontic goals and what other issues we’ll need to correct with braces. At the end of it, you’ll have your cost of braces and time to decide if you’d like to move forward with treatment.
